Built by hand
The shell is an architect-designed A-frame. That was the easy part.
Six months went into everything after it: the foundation, the deck, the skirt, the pavers and every inch of the inside. I did that work myself, and it's the part guests notice.
The big window, the deck, the soaking tub
The leather sofa and the velvet chairs face the big window. The deck runs out toward the field, and the soaking tub waits at the end of the night.
The kitchenette is for coffee, drinks and snacks. Dinner is in town.
Ten acres behind one gate
Ten acres behind one gate. One gravel road, passing one stay at a time, each with its own open field in front of it: no shared wall, no shared deck, no shared fire. And if you do pass someone on the gravel, they're here for the same reason you are.
What happens after you reserve
Reserve here and your stay goes straight onto the Star Farm calendar. Before you arrive you get the gate code, your door code and the guest guide, with everything you need for the stay and the area around it.

What comes with Cathedral Cabin?
The king bed is made up, and you'll find fresh towels, robes, Aesop bath products and two bottles of water. There's a deep soaking tub in the bathroom.
The cabin has heat and AC, 500 Mbps Wi-Fi, a smart TV and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. The telescope, cards and dominoes are already here. Outside, you have the deck, the fire pit and the ten acres to walk.
What are evenings like at Cathedral Cabin?
Sit out on the deck with the lights around the A-frame on, or take a glass of wine down to the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. There's a telescope in the cabin for clear nights. Find the moon, tell a story, and spend some time together.
Is Star Farm only for couples?
No. Come with your partner, a friend, or a parent. It's a place to spend time with someone you like being around. Cathedral Cabin has one king bed, and both guests need to be 25 or older.
