Star Farm is ten acres behind one gate in Fayetteville, West Virginia. One gravel road passes one stay at a time, each with its own field in front of it: no shared wall, no shared deck, no shared fire. Dinner in town is four minutes away.
Deer come out in the meadow at dusk and dawn. After dark the fireflies start, and the whole field lights up.

The bridge and the national park visitor center are a 5-minute drive. Trailheads like Long Point, Endless Wall and Diamond Point are 10 to 15 minutes away.
Downtown Fayetteville is 4 minutes away: coffee, vintage shops, and good places for dinner. Spend the day out, then come back to Star Farm.

Before you come, you get the gate code, your door code and the guest guide. Drive in past the sign and the old tractor, and the cabin is yours.

That's a good reason to come. Have coffee on the deck, take a walk, or sit by the fire and talk for a while. You can go out and explore together, then leave the rest of the day open. You don't need a full itinerary here.
Star Farm is inside Fayetteville's city limits. Downtown is four minutes away, and the national park entrance is about five. You can spend the day hiking, rafting or taking the Bridge Walk, then come back for an evening at the cabin.
No. The kitchenette is for coffee, drinks, light snacks and takeout. There's a Nespresso Vertuo, a kettle and a mini-fridge, but you can't cook meals here. Downtown Fayetteville is four minutes away when you're ready for dinner.
The calendar shows the price of each night. Add a $100 cleaning fee, and 13% tax on the nights and cleaning fee: West Virginia sales tax 6%, Fayetteville sales tax 1%, and the Fayetteville accommodations tax 6%.
There’s no resort fee. You’ll see the full total before you pay.
Cancel five or more days before check-in and you get a full refund. Inside five days, you get back half of the nightly rate and half of the cleaning fee, plus all of the tax.
A no-show or an early departure forfeits the full reservation. Refunds go back to your original payment method within five to ten business days.
