No. The kitchenette is for coffee, drinks, light snacks and takeout. There's a Nespresso Vertuo, a kettle and a mini-fridge, but you can't cook meals here. Downtown Fayetteville is five minutes away when you're ready for dinner.

After you book, the guest portal at guest.starfarmwv.com is yours. Sign in with your last name and the last 4 digits of the phone number on your booking. It holds the guest guide, the gate and door codes from two days before check-in, and a small shop.

Sit out on the deck with the lights around the A-frame on, or take a glass of wine down to the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. There's a telescope in the cabin for clear nights. Find the moon, tell a story, and spend some time together.

Make a coffee and settle into the leather sofa or one of the velvet chairs by the big window. There are cards and dominoes in the cabin, and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker for your music. You can have a good evening without going anywhere.

Quite often. I keep the grass in the field fairly tall because the deer love to graze there. They're out here most days, sometimes right in front of the A-frame. They even sleep by the front gate.

I've seen a bear near the front gate a couple of times. Please don't leave food outside or give wildlife a reason to come looking for it.

Keep leftovers and food containers inside the cabin overnight. In the morning, put your trash in the outdoor bin behind the A-frame. I collect the outdoor trash each day.

Yes. Every stay is for adults 25 and over, with a maximum of two guests. That's part of how we keep things quiet here.

Star Farm is ten acres behind one gate. One gravel road passes the stays, and each faces its own stretch of meadow. There are no shared walls, decks or fire pits. You may pass someone on the gravel road.

Text or call me. I generally check in to see whether you need fresh towels or supplies.

If I'm working on the property on a hot, sunny day and you're out, I may step into the cabin to close open curtains so it stays cool.

Cancel five or more days before check-in and you get a full refund. Inside five days, you get back half of the nightly rate and half of the cleaning fee, plus all of the tax.

A no-show or an early departure forfeits the full reservation. Refunds go back to your original payment method within five to ten business days.
